You’ve always meant to do Yoga but didn’t know which style to start with? You’re a passionate Yogi/Yogini and can’t get enough of it? Or you just care about living a good, healthy and aware life. Whichever way, the well-being weekend will offer you a whole day (or if you like, a whole weekend) of talks, demonstrations and hands-on classes with a range of styles to choose from. Experts from India and Canada will lead you through sessions on yoga postures, meditation, pranayama and lectures on health, nutrition and feeling good. Make your own schedule by picking and choosing from two studio rooms running simultaneous sessions, for a total of 16 sessions over the weekend. This is one of the best ways to pamper yourself with some sustained self-awareness, for just slightly more than the cost of a single-drop in class!
Bring your own mat or use one courtesy of YYoga. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and bring along a bottle of water. A 45-minute lunch break will be given mid-day so bring your lunch or find a spot in the neighbourhood.
